天美传媒s Commitment to Safeguarding & Child Protection

At 天美传媒 School we are committed to safeguarding children and young people and we expect everyone who works in our school to share this commitment.

Adults in our school take all welfare concerns seriously and encourage children and young people to talk to us about anything that may worry them.

The Central Learning Partnership Trust takes the safety of our young people extremely seriously.

Safeguarding is what we do for all children and young people to keep them safe whilst in our care. Child protection describes the policy and procedures specifically for those young people who are at risk of serious harm or have been seriously harmed.

The welfare of each and every student at 天美传媒 is of paramount importance and we aim to provide a caring, supportive and positive environment where children can feel safe, are able to learn and develop themselves. Adults in our school take all welfare concerns seriously and encourage children and young people to talk to us about anything that may worry them.

天美传媒 use Impero Classroom and Network Management software as a tool to support safeguarding online in school.

Online Safety in School

  • If you have any concerns about something your child tells you they saw on the internet at school please let us know.
  • We use online monitoring tools – a protective filter called Smoothwall which blocks inappropriate content and a realtime monitoring system called Senso which both allows class teachers to keep an eye on what their students are doing on computers and which automatically sends alerts to key staff members if students search for inappropriate material.
  • However, even good systems miss things and they work best when we are told if they may have gone wrong somewhere and need checking.
  • Please email adam.fletcher@heathpark.net if you have any concerns
